The history of the brand begins with the opening of the restaurant in Zurich in 1948. However, for a long time the name was associated with the Mövenpick hotel and restaurant business, until the Mövenpick coffee has appeared on the shelves of Zurich stores in 1963. The brand became famous instantly thanks to the coffee which was previously served exclusively at Mövenpick bars and coffeehouses.

Over the past 50 years Mövenpick has become a recognizable brand and earned the truly Swiss authority. Today, Mövenpick coffee can be found in more than 70 countries around the world.
The company imports coffee from East Africa, India, Central and South America. Different blends make it possible to feel even the tiniest nuances of taste and aroma of the noble drink.
